Environmental activists Iryna Sukhiy, Vasil Siniukhin, Kanstantsin Kirylenka and Volha Konovalova were detained at about 6 p.m. at the apartment of Iryna Sukhiy, leader of the “Eka-Dom” NGO. All of them were eventually released from Pershamaiski police department at about 9 p.m.

Human rights defender Viachaslau Dashkievich was detained at about 7.40 p.m. near Savetski district police department.

Iryna Yaskevich and Tatsiana Seviarynets, fined for organizing the People’s Assembly on October 8, 2011 in Vitebsk, filed supervisory appeals against the court decisions with the assistance of the BHC* Vitebsk representative, Pavel Levinau.

On February 23, the Minsk City Court dismissed a complaint, which had been lodged by the organizers of the march in the framework of the Festival "Minsk Gay Pride 2011." Siarhei Androsenka and Natallia Mankouskaya asked the court to declare the ban of the Minsk City Executive Committee on this public action to be illegal.
