There are a number of Public Councils under “Belarusian Helsinki Committee”, where qualified lawyers give consultations to citizens on issues, concerning human rights violations.
Visiting days - Tuesday and Thursday. Admission is carried out by appointment or phone call.
When addressing the council one should present the following documents:
- application with the appeal for legal redress. The essence of the matter has to be briefly stated in the application;
- materials, confirming validity of the applicant’s statements (copies of the correspondence between the citizen and state bodies, officials and courts).
