The Belarusian Helsinki Committee (BHC) has prepared an alternative report on the implementation of Sustainable Development Goal 16 by the Republic of Belarus — “Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions”. BHC also contributed to a coalition report on all Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), developed by representatives of Belarusian civil society.
These documents are published in connection with Belarus’s Voluntary National Review presentation at the UN High-Level Political Forum in July 2025. The previous review was presented in 2022.
Alternative reports from civil society offer an independent assessment of progress, help identify key challenges, and enhance accountability in the implementation of the 2030 Agenda in Belarus.
